Rut Foundation at EoF – Economy of Francesco
"WE ARE the social transition - we co-create meanings and map actions - TOGETHER"
On September 24, 2022, the Rut Foundation participated with a workshop, “WE ARE the social transition – we co-create meanings and map actions – TOGETHER” in the third edition of Economy of Francesco, the international event which saw as protagonists more than a thousand young economists, changemakers and entrepreneurs from all over the world to outline together a new economy on a human scale, for man .
Working on two major themes, care of the earth and wealth and poverty, the workshop participants were encouraged to jointly develop urgent and applicable ideas and actions to increase social inclusion and make societies more equal, with the final objective of “writing” together the new definition of “social inclusion”, for a new idea of globalization, centered on people and on social and ecological justice.
Accompanying us on this journey was the artist Rocco Lombardi, who followed and visually interpreted the co-creation work, creating live on a maxi panel, the conceptual map of the ideas that emerged from the work shared.
This map has been digitized and made shareable online to continue the work remotely. This initiative is part of the Rut Foundation’s project to create the Platform for Human Rights and Communication, a global network of people – but also of the physical and digital places to which they are connected – who intend to collaborate in order to give visibility to cases and local contexts linked to human rights violations against individuals and communities, as well as to support victims and witnesses who are fighting for their own safety, to obtain justice or for the promotion of rights and social equity.
